Common Disease:
All Cryptocoryne plants under goes a phenomenon called Cryptocoryne melt (crypt melt) or Crypt rot. Usually it happens when there is a change to its water parameter. The symptom of crypt melts is exactly the name says ?the leaves of the plant melts?. I don?t think there is a solution/medication for this. Just leave the plant undisturbed. Remove any old rotted leaf without disturbing the plant root. In most of the case it re-grows after few weeks.
Comment:
Cryptocoryne albida has a long acclimatisation period before growth starts. It is available in two colour varieties (light-green and the other red-brown). it is an easy plant to grow with nutritious substrate and bright light.
